UBE4B Antibody (A301-123A) in WB
Detection of human and mouse UBE4B by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 µg) from HeLa, U2OS, K-562, TCMK-1, and NIH 3T3 cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-UBE4B antibody (Product # A301-123A) (lot A301-123A-3) used for WB at 0.1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Target Information
The modification of proteins with ubiquitin is an important cellular mechanism for targeting abnormal or short-lived proteins for degradation. Ubiquitination involves at least three classes of enzymes: ubiquitin-activating enzymes, or E1s, ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes, or E2s, and ubiquitin-protein ligases, or E3s. UBE4B represents an additional conjugation factor, E4, which is involved in multiubiquitin chain assembly. UBE4B also the strongest candidate among the neuroblastoma tumor suppressors.
