Have you tested the Veriti and VeritiPro Thermal Cyclers in low humidity conditions (below 20%)?

The recommended conditions are determined to ensure no static discharge (low humidity) occurs.
Recommended Conditions:
- Veriti: 20-80% humidity
- VeritiPro: 15-80% humidity
We have not tested Veriti and VeritiPro thermal cyclers in low humidity, below 20%, therefore we cannot recommend using them in those conditions.

I get the following error message on my Veriti Pro: ‘The instrument is due for servicing for the following test(s): Temperature Non-Uniformity test, Temperature Verification Test, Cycle performance Test, Heated Cover Test’. Do I need to do these tests?

The error message on the Thermal Cycler is a reminder that regular maintenance is useful to ensure the optimal functioning of the appliance. You can switch off these reminders or change the interval in the device settings. On the VeritiPro you will find the menu item “Service Reminders” in “Maintenance and Service” section of the user guide (page 58).
