Once thawed, CTS StemPro-34 Supplement should not be refrozen in the bag. If necessary, the supplement can be removed from the bag to a secondary container and refrozen. Avoid additional freeze/thaw cycles.

Complete CTS StemPro-34 SFM XF medium can be stored for 4 weeks at 4 degrees C, however, we recommend adding growth factors or cytokines just prior to use.

CTS StemPro-34 Supplement can be thawed at room temperature (RT) for ~1 hour or at 4 degrees C overnight. Do not thaw the frozen supplement at 37 degrees C. Once completely thawed, the supplement should be allowed to equilibrate to RT for at least 10 min, but not longer than 3 hr, before gently mixing the supplement by inverting the vial 6-8 times until the supplement is completely homogenous.

CTS StemPro-34 Basal Medium should be stored at 2 to 8 degrees C, protected from light. CTS StemPro-34 Supplement should be stored at -20 to -5 degrees C, protected from light.

CTS StemPro-34 SFM XF can support growth of human hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells in culture, including CD34+ cells from bone marrow, neonatal cord blood, and peripheral blood, when supplemented with appropriate growth factors or cytokines. In addition, CTS StemPro-34 SFM XF can support differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to iPSC-derived HSPCs, when supplemented with appropriate growth factors, cytokines and other additions.
