What size template should I use with the MEGAshortscript T7 kit?

The MEGAshortscript Kit is designed to function best with templates that code for RNA transcripts in the 20 to 500 nt range. The kit can be used to produce longer RNA but the Invitrogen MEGAscript Kit is more economical for this purpose.

I am planning on ordering Invitrogen GeneArt CRISPR T7 Strings DNA. What do you recommend I use to in vitro transcribe gRNA?
