Are Bio-Rad power supplies compatible with Owl Electrophoresis systems?

The Owl Electrophoresis Systems are supplied with standard power leads, but we have not tested compatibility of the Owl systems with the Bio-Rad power supplies. For best performance, we recommend using one of our Owl or PowerEase power supplies for the Owl Electrophoresis Systems.

Do I have to change how I run my gel if I am using an Owl EasyCast B2 Mini Gel Electrophoresis System with buffer exchange ports (Cat. No. B2-BP)?

No, the Owl EasyCast buffer chamber with buffer exchange ports can be used the same way as other Owl EsayCast buffer chambers without buffer exchange ports. As long as the white drain fittings are not plugged in, the buffer chamber will be sealed tight.
