About This Kit
Human Nogo-B/RTN 4B quantitates human Nogo-B/RTN 4B in serum, plasma, supernatant. The assay will exclusively recognize both natural and recombinant human Nogo-B/RTN 4B.
Target information
Nogo-B is a member of the reticulon-4 (RTN4) family of proteins, primarily localized to the endoplasmic reticulum and expressed in many tissues, especially vascular endothelial and smooth muscle cells. It plays a key role in regulating vascular remodeling, cell migration, and tissue repair by influencing cytoskeletal organization and signaling pathways. Unlike Nogo-A, which is known for inhibiting nerve regeneration, Nogo-B is more involved in maintaining vascular homeostasis and modulating inflammatory responses.
