Description

The Thermo Scientific Human IFN gamma ELISA Reagent Kit contains antibodies an the necessary reagents to make and assay five 96-well plates. The Human IFN gamma ELISA Reagent Kit produces assays that are appropriate to measure IFN-γ (human interferon gamma) levels in human serum, plasma (EDTA, heparin, sodium citrate), and culture supernatants. This product contains coating and detection antibodies as well as IFN-γ standard, Streptavidin-HRP Conjugate, and TMB and Stop solutions.

Features of the Human IFN gamma ELISA Reagent Kit:

Target: natural and recombinant human interferon gamma (IFNγ)
Format: colorimetric ELISA (TMB substrate) in clear 96-well strip plate
Measurement: absorbance at 450nm minus absorbance at 550nm
Assay Range: 25.6 to 1000 pg/mL
Sensitivity: ≤ 2 pg/mL
Precision: intra-assay CV ≤ 10%; inter-assay CV ≤ 10%
Sample Types: cell culture supernatant, urine, serum, plasma (EDTA, sodium citrate and heparin)
Total Assay Time: 3.5 hours
Sample Size: 50 µL
Specificity: no significant cross-reaction with with human IL-1α, IL-1β, IL-2, IL-3, IL-6, IL-7, IL-8, TNFα or GM-CSF

Note: Assay range and other values listed above are for the pre-coated plate kit; see product documentation for values specific to the reagent kit and antibody-pair kit.

These human IFN-gamma ELISA kits use pre-titered, matched pairs of coating and detection antibodies to achieve sensitive and accurate measurement of interferon gamma (IFNγ) in samples at 50 to 100 µL per well. Also included are calibrated recombinant protein standard, streptavidin-HRP, TMB substrate solution and stop solution. The complete kits contain precoated 96-well strip plate(s) and lot-optimized reagents. The economically-priced reagent kit provides validated reagents only, requiring users to coat their own plates. The antibody-pair kit consists of the matched IFNγ antibody pairs and IFNγ standard only. All components undergo quality control testing to minimize lot-to-lot variability.

Includes:
Complete Kits contain pre-coated antibody-plates, detection antibodies, buffers, diluents, standards, and substrates. The Reagent Kit (previously called a "Screening Set") contains matched antibodies, standard and detection reagents but no coated plates. The Antibody Pair Kit (previously called a "MiniKit") contains only matched antibodies and standard (no plates or detection reagents).
