The MA1-90371 immunogen is: This was raised against a yeast nucleolar prep, and screened by immunocytochemistry and western blotting. Nucleolar prep contains Lys20p protein (as well as Nop1p/fibrillarin).
Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial.
Lys20 and Lys21 are two isozymes of yeast homocitrate synthase. Both proteins are localized to the nucleoplasm of the nucleus and share 90% homology.
