Western blot analysis SAPK/JNK was performed by loading 30 µg of THP-1 whole cell lysate per well onto an SDS-PAGE gel. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat dry milk in TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. Target Information
MAPK9 (JNK2) is a serine/threonine kinase which plays an important role in the MAPK pathway. JNK2 (p54a, SAPK1a), along with JNK1 and JNK3, is thought to play an important role in nuclear signal transduction through its environmental stress activation and subsequent phosphorylation of the nuclear transcription factor p53.
