MIP-3 alpha Antibody (MA5-23843) in WB
Western blot analysis of MIP-3 alpha in 100 ng recombinant Human CCL20/MIP‚3α, recombinant Mouse CCL20/MIP‚3α and recombinant Rat CCL20/MIP‚3α. Samples were incubated in MIP-3 alpha monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-23843) using a dilution of 1 µg/mL followed by a HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG secondary antibody. A specific band was detected for CCL20/MIP–3α at approximately 11 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.

In ELISAs, this antibody does not cross-react with recombinant human (rh) CCL19, rhCXCL1, rhCCL16, rhCCL11, recombinant mouse CCL20, or recombinant rat CCL20.
Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3 alpha (MIP-3alpha), also called CCL20, is expressed in the liver, lungs, lymph nodes and peripheral blood lymphocytes. MIP-3alpha is strongly up regulated by inflammatory signals, and down regulated by the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10. MIP3alpha signals through the G protein-coupled receptor, CCR6, and acts as a chemoattractant to lymphocytes and dendritic cells.
