Unless expressly labeled or annotated as “raw-unedited”, Western blot images included in the antibody testing data in our catalog may have been edited, optimized or otherwise adjusted for presentation.
The antibody detects a 161 kDa* protein corresponding to the molecular mass of CLASP1 on SDS-PAGE immunoblots of human HeLa, mouse brain, and rat PC12 cells. The antibody also detects CLASP1 by immunocytochemistry in HeLa cells.
CLASPs, such as CLASP1, are nonmotor microtubule-associated proteins that interact with CLIPs.
