RAB3A Antibody (MA5-49607) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescence of RAB3A was performed using SK-N-FI WT and RAB3A KO cells that were labeled with a green or a far-red fluorescent dye, respectively. Post-labeling, WT and KO cells were mixed and plated to a 1:1 ratio in a 96-well plate with an optically clear flat bottom as a mosaic and incubated for 24 hrs. Target Information
Rab proteins belong to the Ras small GTPase superfamily. The GTP-binding Rab3 subfamily has 4 known isoforms: 3A, 3B, 3C, and 3D. These proteins are expressed in highest concentrations in brain and endocrine tissues and involved in regulated exocytosis of hormones and neurotransmitters. Specifically, Rab 3s are thought to play a key role in presynaptic vesicle trafficking and priming.
