Immunohistochemistry analysis of GPR84 was performed on human cerebral cortex tissue. To expose target proteins, antigen retrieval was performed by microwaving tissues for 20 minutes in 10mM sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). IHC(P) analysis shows positive staining of GPR84 in human cerebral cortex and germinal center of human lymph node.
WB analysis shows GPR84 in glyco-protein enriched fractions from GPR84 or GPR88 overexpressed 293 cells. The GPR84 antiserum showed specific detection of GPR84 over other tested GPRs.
GPR84 exists in different glycosylated forms.
Target Information
G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs, or GPRs) contain 7 transmembrane domains and transduce extracellular signals through heterotrimeric G proteins. GPCR EX33 is a member of this family (subfamily Orphan A).
