Phospho-WNK4 (Ser575) Antibody (PA5-114673) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of Phospho-WNK4 (Ser575) in mouse stomach tissue. Samples were treated with formaldehyde and treated with citrate buffer for antigen retrieval, blocked, and incubated (1.5 hours at 22°C) with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-114673) at a dilution of 1:100. Secondary staining was applied with HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit.

Antibody detects endogenous levels of WNK4 only when phosphorylated at Ser575.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the WNK family of serine-threonine protein kinases. The kinase is part of the tight junction complex in kidney cells, and regulates the balance between NaCl reabsorption and K(+) secretion. The kinase regulates the activities of several types of ion channels, cotransporters, and exchangers involved in electrolyte flux in epithelial cells. Mutations in this gene result in pseudohypoaldosteronism type IIB.
