GLO1 Antibody (PA5-115287) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of GLO1 in human kidney tissue. Samples were treated with formaldehyde and treated with citrate buffer for antigen retrieval, blocked, and incubated (1.5 hours at 22°C) with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-115287) at a dilution of 1:100. Secondary staining was applied with HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit.

Target Information
The enzyme encoded by this gene is responsible for the catalysis and formation of S-lactoyl-glutathione from methylglyoxal condensation and reduced glutathione. Glyoxalase I is linked to HLA and is localized to 6p21.3-p21.1, between HLA and the centromere.
