ANKH Antibody (PA5-26745) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of ANKH in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded brain tissue. Samples were incubated with ANKH polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-26745) followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Target Information
ANKH is a multipass transmembrane protein that is expressed in joints and other tissues and controls pyrophosphate levels in cultured cells. Progressive ankylosis-mediated control of pyrophosphate levels has been suggested as a possible mechanism regulating tissue calcification and susceptibility to arthritis in higher animals.
