VSIG1 Antibody (PA5-48074) in WB
Western blot analysis of VSIG1 in rat testis tissue. Samples were incubated in VSIG1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-48074) using a dilution of 1 µg/mL followed by a HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG secondary antibody. Specific bands were detected for VSIG1 at approximately 55 and 70 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.

In direct ELISAs, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) VSIG1 is observed and less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) VSIG2, rmVSIG3, rmVSIG4, and rhVSIG3 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
VSIG1 encodes a member of the junctional adhesion molecule (JAM) family. The encoded protein contains multiple glycosylation sites at the N-terminal region, and multiple phosphorylation sites and glutamic acid/proline (EP) repeats at the C-terminal region. The gene is expressed in normal stomach and testis, as well as in gastric, esophageal and ovarian cancers. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
