Western blot analysis of ZNF148 in zebra fish muscle, Zebrafish tissue lysate (from left to right). Samples were incubated with ZNF148 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-72667) using a dilution of 1:1,000 followed by goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) at a dilution of 1:5,000. Lysates at 35 µg per lane.

ZNF148 is involved in transcriptional regulation. ZNF148 represses the transcription of a number of genes including gastrin, stromelysin and enolase. ZNF148 binds to the G-rich box in the enhancer region of these genes.
