MAFB Antibody (PA5-87620) in WB
Western blot analysis of MAFB in extracts of various cell lines. Samples were incubated with MAFB Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-87620) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 90s.

Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a basic leucine zipper transcription factor that plays an important role in the regulation of lineage-specific hematopoiesis. The encoded nuclear protein represses ETS1-mediated transcription of erythroid-specific genes in myeloid cells. This gene contains no introns.
