Recombinant NT-3 is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. NT-3 is a member of the neurotrophin family, that controls survival and differentiation of mammalian neurons. This protein is closely related to both nerve growth factor and brain-derived neurotrophic factor. It may be involved in the maintenance of the adult nervous system, and may affect development of neurons in the embryo when it is expressed in human placenta.

Contents & storage

The lyophilized protein is stable at room temperature for 1 month, but should be kept at -20°C for long term storage. Working aliquots stored with a carrier protein are stable for at least 3 months at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze⁄thaw cycles
