Retinoic acid receptor alpha, ligand binding domain (RARA-LBD) is a 59.53 kDa recombinant human protein (amino acids 176-462) expressed as a GST-tagged fusion protein in baculovirus-infected insect cells. RARA-LBD is expressed and purified in the absence of exogenous ligands, making it ideal for ligand binding and coregulator recruitment studies.
