Make DNA quantitation easy and accurate with Qubit 1X dsDNA HS (High Sensitivity) and BR (Broad Range) Assay kits. These kits include a ready-to-use assay buffer and DNA standards for dsDNA quantitation. To perform the assay, simply dilute your sample (any volume from 1–20 µL is acceptable) into the 1X working solution provided, then read the concentration using a Qubit Fluorometer.

Qubit 1X dsDNA HS Assay
Qubit 1X dsDNA HS Assay is recommended for initial dsDNA sample concentrations ranging from 10 pg/µL to 100 ng/µL, providing a core detection range of 0.2 ng to 100 ng of DNA.

Qubit 1X dsDNA BR Assay
Qubit 1X dsDNA BR Assay is recommended for initial dsDNA sample concentrations ranging from 200 pg/µL to 4 µg/μL, providing a core detection range of 4 ng to 4 µg of DNA.

Both Qubit 1X dsDNA HS and BR assays are selective for double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) over RNA and tolerant of common contaminants such as salts, free nucleotides, solvents, detergents, and protein. The assays are performed at room temperature, and fluorescence signals are stable for three hours when the samples are protected from light.

Notes:
1. Qubit 1X dsDNA HS assay kits are designed for use with Qubit 2.0, 3, 4, and Flex fluorometers.
2. Qubit 1X dsDNA BR assay kits are designed for use with the Qubit 4 and Qubit Flex fluorometers.
3. Use thin-wall, clear, 0.5-mL PCR tubes (Cat. No. Q32856) for the Qubit 4 Fluorometer and 8 × 200 μL tube strips (Cat. No. Q33252) for the Qubit™ Flex Fluorometer.
