This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-65287. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
This gene encodes subunit 3 of the splicing factor 3b protein complex. Splicing factor 3b, together with splicing factor 3a and a 12S RNA unit, forms the U2 small nuclear ribonucleoproteins complex transcription coactivator-HAT complex, and the TFTC -containing complex). These complexes may function in chromatin modification, transcription, splicing, and DNA repair.
