Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (60%), Rat (60%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibodies, PA5-144744, PA5-61263. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Part of the SNAPc complex required for the transcription of both RNA polymerase II and III small-nuclear RNA genes. Binds to the proximal sequence element (PSE), a non-TATA-box basal promoter element common to these 2 types of genes. Recruits TBP and BRF2 to the U6 snRNA TATA box.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
