Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (89%), Rat (89%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-52788. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
SEMA4C (semaphorin-4C), also known as SEMAF, is an 833 amino acid single-pass type I membrane protein that contains one sema domain, one PSI domain and one Ig-like C2-type domain. Expressed in a variety of tissues, including lung, kidney and brain, SEMA4C interacts with GIPC and NCDN and is thought to play a role in the formation of neural networks during development.
