Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (64%), Rat (64%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-55698. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
FAM212B (INKA2, Inka Box Actin Regulator 2) is a Protein Coding gene. An important paralog of this gene is ENSG00000284755. Inhibitor of the serine/threonine-protein kinase PAK4. Acts by binding PAK4 in a substrate-like manner, inhibiting the protein kinase activity.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
