This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-63527. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
The SH3RF2 gene encodes a protein that has been shown to possess protein phosphatase 1 binding activity and ubiquitin protein ligase activity. This protein is involved in several cellular processes, including the positive regulation of the JNK cascade, protein autoubiquitination, and regulation of cellular protein metabolic processes. The protein is located in the nucleoplasm and mutations in the SH3RF2 gene have been associated with Ureter Transitional Cell Carcinoma.
