Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (74%), Rat (74%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-66817. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
SNAPC3 is part of the SNAPc complex required for the transcription of both RNA polymerase II and III small-nuclear RNA genes. SNAPC3 binds to the proximal sequence element (PSE), a non-TATA-box basal promoter element common to these 2 types of genes. SNAPC3 recruits TBP and BRF2 to the U6 snRNA TATA box.
