Sustainability is embedded in how we operate, innovate, and serve the scientific community. We are committed to achieving net zero emissions by advancing cleaner operations, promoting safer, greener chemistry, and reducing waste through smarter packaging and circular design. Guided by transparency and science, we continually measure and report our environmental impact to ensure accountability and meaningful progress.
Committed to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3 by 2050, aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative and the Paris Agreement. Our interim goals include a 50.4% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 (from a 2018 baseline) and requiring 90% of our suppliers (by spend) to set science-based targets by 2027. This ambitious path is supported by a global transition to renewable electricity and validated by third-party standards.
The map highlights the Lab Equipment, Lab Plastics, and Lab Chemicals manufacturing sites that run on 100% renewable electricity.
Committed to advancing sustainability at every stage of the product lifecycle, from formulation to delivery. Through greener chemistry and eco-friendly packaging, we’re helping laboratories reduce their environmental impact while maintaining high standards of safety and performance. This includes safer, low-toxicity chemicals and solvents, along with innovative packaging solutions like EcoSafPak, FisherPak, and AcroSeal that minimize waste and support circular practices.
Protecting natural resources is central to our sustainability commitment. We focus on preserving freshwater and minimizing waste, with several of our lab product manufacturing sites achieving zero-waste certification—each contributing to our goal of reducing environmental impact.Zero-Waste Certified Manufacturing Sites:
