Meet ICH Q1B guidelines with temperature, humidity and light control

These stability chambers provide precise control over a wide range of temperature and humidity settings just like our other stability chambers, but also include lighting modules for light stability testing, plant and insect growth studies. They are ideal for product stability studies, shelf-life testing and other large-scale biological research.

Key features

Flexible lighting
Variable set-up addresses requirements for sample distance to light and sample volume.

ICH light module
Optimal light exposure according to guideline Q1B.

Biological lighting
Specific light modules for plant growth and animal hatching available.

Solid door
Ensures there is no "light pollution" in the light exposure to samples.

Wide light distribution
Achieved with 7 fluorescent light bulbs.

Controlling relative humidity in vertical light stability chambers

This chart illustrates the maximum and minimum attainable humidity within the vertical light stability chambers at a given set temperature with the light on and two light modules installed. Optional heatless dryer is available for lower humidity levels.

Choose light modules for ideal for ICH Q1B light stability testing, plant growth or animal/insect hatching

The light modules for plant growth emit increased red and blue wavelengths based on typical sunlight patterns.  Light modules for insect hatching mimic daylight – ideal for the required day/night simulation – including dawn and dusk progression settings. The light modules for light stability testing accommodate ICH guidelines Q1B and have a combination of bulbs that address the required wavelengths, and UV light according to these guidelines.
