Mouse kidney cryosection. The lumenal surface of some distal tubules in the cortex was labeled with the Alexa Fluor® 488 conjugate of lectin PHA-L from Phaseolus vulgaris (red kidney bean) (Cat. no. L11270, green). Proximal tubules and Bowman's capsules were stained with Alexa Fluor® 568 phalloidin (Cat. no. A12380, pseudocolored blue).
