GABA-A-R-Gamma2L refers to the long splice variant of the gamma2 subunit of the GABA-A receptor, which is a major inhibitory neurotransmitter receptor in the central nervous system. The gamma2 subunit is critical for the receptor's proper assembly, trafficking, and synaptic localization, and it influences the receptor's pharmacological properties, including its sensitivity to benzodiazepines.
