PA5-29043 targets DLAT in WB and IHC-P applications and shows reactivity with Human samples.
The PA5-29043 immunogen is recombinant fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 310 and 588 of Human DLAT.
The DLAT gene encodes dihydrolipoamide acetyltransferase (EC 220.127.116.11), the E2 subunit of the mammalian pyruvate dehydrogenase complex (PDC; EC 18.104.22.168) of the inner mitochondrial membrane. Patients with primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC; MIM 109720) show autoantibodies to DLAT.
