Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (93%), Rat (93%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-139916. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
POU2F3 (POU class 2 homeobox 3) is a transcription factor that regulates gene expression by binding specific DNA sequences through its POU domain. It is best known for controlling the development and identity of tuft cells in epithelial tissues and has emerging roles in certain cancers, particularly tuft cell-like carcinomas.
