This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-62254. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Bradykinin B2 receptor (BDKRB2) expression has been reported in blood, brain, eye, kidney, liver, lung, prostate, skin, small intestine, synovium, uterus, and vessel. ESTs have been isolated from colon, connective tissue, heart, heart/melanocyte/uterus, and kidney libraries. It is associated with G-proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system.
