ABgene storage plates, a premier brand among storage plates, are backed by industry-leading, cleanroom manufacturing standards and are guaranteed human DNA-free, while Nunc storage plates are available with a sterility assurance level (SAL) of 10-6. Both brands are made with high-quality polypropylene resin, helping to reduce the possibilities of extractables and leachables interacting with any samples. The polypropylene plates are designed to meet the recommendation of American National Standards (ANSI/SBS 1-2004), seamlessly fitting into any equipment that handles plate formats. Featured plate formats, plate sealers and accessories

ABgene and Nunc plates are available in 96-well microplates and 96-deepwell or blocks. These ANSI standard plates are ideal for quick prep in compound storage, molecular biology, and storage of biological samples or cells.

The ALPS family of heat sealers and wide range of heat seals offer the ideal plate sealing solution. Three options of sealers, available for manual and automated use, can seal any type of plate, including PCR plates, polystyrene plates, and deepwell blocks.

384-format plates are economical solutions for any prep, low binding assays or storage in high throughput screening workflows and compound storage. Store samples as little as 70µL and up to 300µL with shallow well or deepwell, 384-format ABgene and Nunc plates.

In manual workflows on the benchtop, plate sealing can temporarily protect against contamination or evaporation. Choose from adhesive tapes, cap mats, or polystyrene lids to protect plate contents.

Plate sealing at your fingertips

Plate sealing is important for researchers who wish to protect plate contents either temporarily, or longer term, to avoid contamination and/or evaporation. Manual workflows benefit from adhesive seals that can be applied quickly over the surface of the plate. Other short-term options are cap mats or polystyrene lids to protect the well contents.

Heat sealing provides an extra level of security over sticky adhesives and cap mats due to the uniformity of sealing.

Heat seals are adhered using one single application of heat. ABgene Storage Plates were designed with a raised rim around each well that enables bonding of the seal to the well, as well as an extremely flat surface to ensure a consistent seal across the entire surface of the plate.
