ASI Brand Integration

Since the 2015 acquisition of Advanced Scientifics, Inc. (ASI) by Thermo Fisher Scientific, we’ve been integrating ASI with a keen focus on aligning our business for the most powerful impact on our customers. To this end, we have made sure to maintain the same high level of service and support you have come to expect from Thermo Fisher and ASI. As part of our integration process we are making the following changes: 

1. Starting on October 1, 2016, newly manufactured products will be sold and shipped with the updated branding and commercial documentation.  
2. Starting on April 30, 2016, all ASI products will be renamed to align with the Thermo Scientific™ single-use products.
3. On or after October 30, 2016, we will retire the asisus.com website when all product information and content is available on thermofisher.com/sut under Bioproduction and the Single-Use Bioprocessing categories.

The result of integrating the ASI products under the Thermo Scientific product brand gives our customers the power of one portfolio of single-use products. This single portfolio gives you, as our customer:

• Enhanced capabilities to meet your needs
• Better positioning of products by application
• New combinations of integrated solutions
• A greater breadth of product and manufacturing choices

The brand and resulting product name changes do not affect the form, fit, or function; product claims, testing methods, or product release criteria; or the manufacturing processes or the level of quality or service we provide to you. These changes do not affect the Advanced Scientifics, Inc. legal entity as the manufacturing and selling entity of these products. We also want to emphasize that there is no action needed on your part. 

Updated commercial documentation

Starting on October 1, 2016, all commercial documentation will be updated to reflect Thermo Scientific product branding. We will be updating the logo and website references on the following materials, including:
