The Thermo Scientific Reacti-Therm Sample Derivatization System can assist with gas chromatography (GC) sample preparation, which often includes small scale derivatization reactions such as silylation, alkylation, and acylation.

Complete solution for derivatization

The system includes the Thermo Scientific Reacti-Therm heating/stirring module for uniform dry heating of samples, which you can couple with the Reacti-Vap evaporator for simultaneous or separate delivery of pressurized gas.

  • Uniform, stable dry heating: steady temperature incubation between ambient plus 10°C to 200°C
  • LED display: match digital display to in-block thermometer to calibrate temperature set-point
  • Modular design: switch aluminum blocks and vials; attach compatible evaporator manifold
  • In-block temperature control option by Remote Temperature Probe, an optional accessory to allow temperature regulation from block wells or actual sample vials
  • Magnetic stirrers for heating/stirring module for simultaneous stirring of samples in multiple vials
