The Thermo Scientific HyPerforma DS 300 Single-Use Mixer (S.U.M.) is built upon the proven legacy design of the S.U.M, but optimized for lower-cost, high throughput applications. The smaller footprint and lighter weight of the HyPerforma DS 300 S.U.M. offer mobility and flexibility in mixing applications not currently available in the market. The system utilizes a top-mounted mixing motor with an angular drive shaft. This design aims to eliminate vortices, support efficient mixing, and help provide more power.
A cost-effective docking station solution, consisting of a mixing station and a plastic support container containing a BioProcess Container (BPC) or tank liners. Optional dollies are available to maneuver the support containers for all drums sizes.
Support container and BPC size availability:
The open-top, non-irradiated BPC tank liner with bottom drain is composed of CX3-9 single web, multi-layer plastic film, compatible with the HyPerforma DS 300 S.U.M. BPCs and liners come in open- and closed-top design and are manufactured using our proprietary CX5-14 and CX3-9 film that easily fit in many plastic drum sizes, so you can implement liners in the overall process of shipping and storing your liquid-liquid and powder-liquid bioprocess mixing applications.
