Designed as a cost-effective mixing solution

The Thermo Scientific HyPerforma Mixtainer System is an integrated single-use sterile unit designed for optimal mixing of cell culture media, process liquids, buffers, reagents, and bulk product. The HyPerforma Mixtainer System is designed as an alternative to conventional bag technology and mixing in open-tank liners. It can hold, store, stir, and suspend sterile fluids in an enclosed environment. Encompassing a single-use Thermo Scientific HyPerforma Mixtainer BioProcess Container (BPC) equipped with an integrated magnetic stir plate, a supporting conical drum, and a dolly to align the components help enable easy mobility, the Mixtainer System provides an ideal solution for your bioprocess workflow.

Key features

  • Reliable BPC constructed of Thermo Scientific CX5-14 film, with a plastic dish welded to the base
  • Welded plastic dish containing a magnetic stir bar, held in the proper operating position using an integrated locking ring
  • Available in 50, 100, and 200 L unit volumes
  • BPCs available for liquid-to-liquid and powder-to-liquid mixing
  • Optimized supporting hardware allowing for mixing, storage, transport, and discharge in a closed system to help minimize risk of cross-contamination
