The Thermo Scientific HyPerforma Single-Use Mixer (S.U.M.) was designed using a proven engineered mixer platform design and offers an ergonomic and efficient user experience for upstream and downstream mixing applications. The complete line of HyPerforma S.U.M.s includes 50, 100, 200, 500, 1,000, and 2,000 L sizes to support consistent scalability in a number of application usages from powder media and buffer hydration to advanced downstream harvest and intermediate pooling steps.

Thermo Scientific BPCs are available for the HyPerforma S.U.M. in standard or customized configurations, with your choice of Thermo Scientific CX5-14 or Aegis 5-14 film. Thermo Scientific films have among the cleanest particulate profiles in the industry and are trusted for their robustness, flexibility, and mechanical properties.

S.U.M. BPC options include:
  • Open top liner for media/buffer hydration
  • Closed BPC with powder port for contained media/buffer hydration
  • Closed BPC with powder port and monitoring probe capability
  • Closed BPC for liquid-liquid mixing of critical sterile solutions, such as pooling of fractions or processing of intermediate solutions
