The Thermo Scientific HyPerforma G3 family of bioprocess controllers offers flexible and reliable advanced control capabilities. The controllers are fully self-contained, movable units that can be operated alone (for one vessel) or networked for multiple vessels. They are engineered to optimize capital cost for use in non-GMP and CGMP-certified production facilities. Together, the control and automation platform scales from bench through production. Integrating flexibility and an open-architecture design, this platform allows the use of third-party vessels, as well as Thermo Scientific single-use bioprocessing equipment.
The G3Lab Controller can control most brands of single-use or autoclavable bioreactors and fermentors that are <50 L, including stirred-tank and rocking models. The enclosure contains innovative transmitters along with power supplies, pumps, input/output (I/O) modules, and the hardware required to connect to the control network, supporting maximum control capability.
Key features:
The G3Lite Bioprocess Controller is an open-architecture control system that can be integrated with most bioreactors and fermentors—regardless of the manufacturer. The system consists of a control tower that leverages intelligent transmitters, mass flow controllers (MFCs), pumps, and sensor controls. This controller is fully self-contained, mobile, and can be operated as stand-alone (for one vessel) or networked for multiple vessels. They are engineered to optimize capital cost for use in non-GMP and cGMP-certified production facilities.
Key features:
The G3Pro Bioprocess Controller offers many of the G3Lite Bioprocess Controller capabilities as an open-architecture, universal controller used to control most bioreactors and fermentors. These controllers enable an additional layer of versatility, allowing mobility and flexibility in terms of providing options for any reconfiguration or application expansion. They are engineered to optimize capital cost for use in non-GMP and cGMP-certified production facilities.
Key features:
The TruBio software, powered by the Emerson DeltaV™ Distributed Control platform, offers easy-to-configure process control so learning automation control programming is not necessary. Developed for use with all Thermo Scientific controllers, TruBio software is designed to support easy scaling, data integrity and technology transfer and allow the ability to build sophisticated process control strategies. It offers flexibility to incorporate a wide range of equipment and manage multiple data streams from several unit operations. TruBio software has been developed according to GAMP 5 methods and conforms to regulatory requirements for use in cGMP-compliant processes.
