Designed specifically to optimize cell growth in single-use bioreactors

Thermo Scientific TruFluor and TruTorr sensors measure the four fundamental process parameters: pH, dissolved oxygen, temperature, and headspace pressure. Thermo Scientific sensors seal reliably into an insertion port, so that process sterility is guaranteed.

Thermo Scientific single-use sensors implement a patented optical design using only USP Class VI materials to optimize performance while maximizing reliability. All sensors are pre-calibrated and provide full traceability information using a gamma irradiation–resistant chip. The chip includes all calibration information, which is transferred to the transmitter when connected with a cable.

TruTorr II Single-Use Pressure Sensor

The Thermo Scientific TruTorr II single-use pressure sensor is a single-use solution for measuring headspace pressure and preventing rupture of a BPC. A TruTorr II loop consists of a disposable pressure sensor, a cable, and a blade that are seamlessly integrated into a bioreactor controller.

Thermo Scientific TruFluor pH and DO single-use measurement solutions each consist of an optical probe with an embedded temperature sensor. A TruFluor loop consists of a disposable sheath welded in the BPC, an optical reader, a cable, and a blade.

Thermo Scientific TruDO and TrupH sensors are specifically designed to minimize drift in bioprocess environments, undergo sterilization cycles, and help ensure measurement consistency from batch to batch. We also provide material certificates and lot traceability for cGMP applications.

TrupH
TrupH  pH electrodes are designed to provide a robust solution with better measurement repeatability, low drift, and fast response time. The reference electrode is designed to minimize fouling even in a high cell-density bioprocess.

TruDO

TruDO reusable dissolved oxygen sensors are a cost-effective solution in which each sensor can be renewed (membrane or electrode). Benefits include a fast response time, resistance to bubbles, and repeatable performance.

TruDO Optical

TruDO optical sensors provide comparable performance to electrochemical sensors, but do not use electrolytes, require polarization or require frequent membrane replacement. The probe can remain in the bioreactor during a sterilization process which reduces damage or contamination risk.
