The Applied Biosystems resDNASEQ Residual Host Cell DNA kit offers a complete sample-to-results solution, including a highly-characterized genomic DNA standard*, for accurate validation of sensitivity and specificity. The kits are designed to detect fragmented and unfragmented DNA resulting in confident quantitation. Developed using rich bioinformatics and a sophisticated primer/probe design pipeline, then internally validated to help meet performance standards, resDNASEQ assays deliver highly accurate and consistent results kit-to-kit, lot-to-lot, and year-to-year.
resDNASEQ kits include:
* Not included in some dPCR kits
resDNASEQ kits were designed to meet or exceed regulatory guidelines.
The overall performance of the resDNASEQ method, including sensitivity, accuracy, precision, range, and linearity meets or exceeds the example described in USP <509>.
Implementation of a fully integrated testing solution can reduce the expense and effort in procurement of assay components from multiple vendors and qualification of critical reagents that is required for in-house developed assays.
The resDNASEQ residual host cell DNA quantitation system offers a robust portfolio of real-time and digital PCR assay kits to measure residual DNA levels from a large variety of host cell lines—including the plasmid DNA kanamycin resistance gene—used in the production of biopharmaceutical products.

The Applied Biosystems resDNASEQ Quantitative E1A DNA Fragment Length Kit can be used in combination with the resDNASEQ Quantitative HEK293 DNA Kit to measure the length of residual E1A DNA fragments that are transformed into the HEK293 cell line. The workflow can use the same sample as for the resDNASEQ Quantitative HEK293 DNA Kit. ![]() |
