TaqPath qPCR products

TaqPath qPCR master mixes have been validated to deliver exquisite lot-to-lot reproducibility for absolute Ct consistency and dynamic range across a wide variety of assays and applications. These general purpose reagents are manufactured in an ISO 13485 facility and include control measures, change control, document control, and purchasing controls. In addition, each batch is quality control–tested prior to release. TaqPath qPCR master mixes enable superior performance, improved reproducibility, and traceability.

Reliability

Compatible with both standard and fast cycling modes, Applied Biosystems™ TaqPath™ qPCR Master Mixes have been engineered for enhanced stability, allowing your preassembled reactions to be left at room temperature for more than 24 hours without impacting performance. In addition, this product has been rigorously validated for duplex performance with both endogenous and exogenous controls, and each manufacturing lot is tested for duplex performance.

TaqPath ProAmp Master Mix and TaqPath ProAmp Multiplex Master Mix

Applied Biosystems™ TaqPath™ ProAmp™ master mixes are designed to be high-performing, high-throughput genotyping and copy number variation (CNV) master mixes that work even with inhibited samples. They have the ability to detect up to four targets in one reaction, providing high specificity and reproducible genotyping and copy number variation determination. They have a wide dynamic range compatible with multiplexing applications,** and they exhibit tolerance of inhibitors commonly found in clinical samples prepared from human or animal sources (buccal swabs, blood, and card punches). All TaqPath ProAmp master mixes also feature 72-hour pre-PCR benchtop stability for automated workflows.

TaqPath qPCR Master Mix, CG for DNA Detection

Applied Biosystems™ TaqPath™ qPCR Master Mix, CG is a 2X formulation designed for gene expression and miRNA analysis, containing a thermostable fast DNA polymerase and dNTPs in an optimized buffer solution for maximum robustness and reproducibility.

TaqPath 1-Step Multiplex Master Mix

TaqPath™ 1-Step Multiplex Master Mix is compatible with multiplexing reactions, allowing additional exogenous or endogenous controls or targets to be run simultaneously for quality control or increased efficiency. Both the Mustang Purple™ passive reference dye-containing mix and the NO ROX™ mix can be used in conjunction with TaqMan* probes with FAM™, VIC™, ABY™, and JUN™ dyes and QSY™ quenchers to provide detection of 4 targets in a single reaction.

TaqPath 1-Step RT-qPCR Master Mixes for RNA and Virus Detection

TaqPath™ 1-Step RT-qPCR Master Mixes are 4X formulations designed for 1-step processing of RNA and DNA targets for pathogen detection, or for 1-step gene expression workflows. Versions with ROX passive reference dye, as well as versions designed specifically for multiplexing and formulated with either Mustang Purple passive reference dye or without ROX dye, are available.

Ease of use

These formulations combine thermostable MMLV reverse transcriptase, dNTPs, and fast DNA polymerase all in a single tube, so all you have to do is add your sample, target-specific primers, and probes.

A: The recommended storage temperature for TaqPath qPCR Master Mix, CG is 4°C, and the recommended storage temperature for TaqPath 1-Step RT-qPCR Master Mixes is –20°C.

Q: How many reactions can I run using 1 package of the product?

A: It depends on the volume of your reactions. TaqPath qPCR Master Mix, CG is a 2X mix, so 5 mL is sufficient to run 500 standard (20 µL) reactions. In contrast, TaqPath 1-Step RT-qPCR Mixes are 4X mixes, so 5 mL is sufficient to run 1,000 reactions of 20 µL each.
