It starts with the sample container

Making the right selection of your centrifuge, rotor, buckets and adapters starts with the right sample container. Some rotors offer exceptional versatility with different adapters available to accommodate various formats, e.g. bottles, tubes, microplates. Some rotors might only be used for one sample container type, if there is only one application in the lab. With the forces a centrifuge runs your samples with, it is critical to select the adapter not only matching to the right volume, but also the shape of your sample tube/ bottle.

General accessories

Buckets, adapters and lids

Maximize throughput, convenience, and performance with the exact accessories for your rotor and application. Choose from a wide selection of adapter shapes and sizes for both swinging bucket and fixed angle rotors, and buckets for swinging bucket rotors. For biocontainment, ClickSeal lids are sized to fit many bucket shapes and fixed angle rotors.

Consumables

You can find the matching container for your centrifuge separation application, from large-volume pelleting to DNA isolation, with Thermo Scientific Nalgene and Nunc centrifuge ware. We offer a broad selection of tubes and bottles in sizes from 10 mL to 2 L, in conical and round-bottom profiles, with a choice of secure closures.

Superspeed centrifuge consumables

Thermo Scientific Fiberlite Bottles are designed for the speeds and RCFs of our superspeed centrifuges and are excellent for bacterial and yeast isolations and viral harvesting. Choose from 250 mL, 500 mL, and 1,000 mL capacities in polypropylene copolymer and polycarbonate materials. Additionally, the 1L SteriBIOS bottles provide a sterilized, single use option; while the Sorvall HP bottles offer improved chemical resistance to phenol solutions.

Large capacity consumables

Thermo Scientific 2 liter bottles are designed for harvesting large volumes in our bioprocessing centrifuges. Harvest up to 16 liters in a single run in a swinging bucket rotor with these translucent polypropylene bottles.

CentriPAK BPC (Bioprocessing Container) provides a comprehensive, closed-system solution to safeguard samples throughout the bioprocessing workflow. The CentriPAK BPC is designed for single-use and undergoes gamma-irradiation sterilization, eliminating the need for post-use cleaning typically associated with reusable containers.
