High-efficiency transduction with BacMam-enabled reagents
Using an optimized procedure (protocol available) HMEC can be transduced and will express exogenous proteins with > 95% efficiency using the BacMam system. The Premo™ Cameleon calcium sensor is a ratiometric calcium-sensitive fluorescent protein (cameleon) that is delivered using BacMam technology. Organelle Lights™ and Cellular Lights™ reagents combine BacMam technology in a ready to use format enabling expression of autofluorescent proteins that are directed to specific subcellular compartments and organelles via signal peptide or protein fusions (see figure below).
- Efficient delivery allows for large quantity of primary cells to be transduced
- Transduce in batch mode, aliquot, store frozen and use as needed
