Ion AmpliSeq On-Demand panels bring practical pack sizes and a optimized gene catalog to custom next-generation sequencing (NGS) panels, so you can iterate panel design for human disease research with efficiency and convenience.

New additions to our portfolio give you more selection and pack sizes, allowing you to build custom panels from over 5,000 pretested genes that are most relevant in the research of inherited diseases—these include hereditary cancer, primary immunodeficiency, hearing loss, muscular dystrophy and many more. Our catalog of optimized genes continues to expand to include more areas of disease research, so be sure to come back and check if you don’t see your genes in the catalog now. Please note that currently the On-Demand catalog includes genes for germline analysis only.

What are the pack sizes?

Ion AmpliSeq On-Demand panels are available in 8-, 24-, 32- and 96-reaction packs to fit a variety of experimental needs, whether you’re running Ion Chef System automation or manual library and template preparation.

Smaller pack sizes help keep up-front costs down so you can more efficiently design, run, and re-design panels. Simply select your preferred library preparation workflow during checkout after you have designed a panel.

Select genes by starting with your disease research area

Start with your disease research area of interest in Ion AmpliSeq Designer and easily configure your own panel. Genes are organized by their degree of disease association as informed by public databases such as the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) database—so you spend less time on panel development and more time on delivering results.

View wet-lab data on gene uniformity during the design stage to be assured of the quality of the expected data, even before running your first experiment.

Ion AmpliSeq On-Demand panels cover broad research areas for germline analysis, including:

What is an Ion AmpliSeq panel?

Ion AmpliSeq panels consist of a pool of oligonucleotide primer pairs, each pair designed to amplify a specified genomic region. Each panel can be designed to interrogate all bases across a gene.
