Safe Imager™ 2.0 Blue-Light Transilluminator

The The Safe Imager™ 2.0 Blue-Light Transilluminator offers a less toxic way to view your gels and dramatically increase cloning efficiency by causing minimal DNA damage. The Safe Imager™ 2.0 transilluminator produces monochromatic, visible blue light that is optimal for excitation of SYBR® Safe DNA Gel Stain and other blue light–excitable nucleic acid and protein stains.


E-Gel® Safe Imager™ Real-Time Transilluminator

This transilluminator is designed to fit perfectly beneath the E-Gel® iBase™ power system and is intended for use with E-Gel® gels containing SYBR® Safe stain. The transilluminator allows you to watch migration of DNA in real time and, unlike light from UV systems, blue light emitted by the instrument causes minimal damage to DNA, offering improved safety to the user and enhanced cloning efficiency of any DNA excised from the gels.

E-Gel® Imager System

The E-Gel® Imager System offers a safe, affordable, personal gel imaging system for documenting and analyzing agarose gels and E-Gel® cassettes. The system has a compact design with a small footprint. Each E-Gel® Imager System includes a sleek and compact camera hood and one or more interchangeable bases, along with two powerful software programs.

The multiple bases allow flexibility to use multiple gel stains such as ethidium bromide and many of the SYBR® dyes (e.g., SYBR® Safe dye). The E-Gel® adaptor base has been designed to provide power to the E-Gel® iBase™ system, which allows real-time image capture as samples are running on the gel.
