BloodPrep DNA Chemistry for Cultured Cells and Blood
BloodPrep chemistry is designed to rapidly isolate DNA from fresh or frozen blood of any animal species, tissue-cultured cells, or buccal swabs. The protocol is designed for use with the Applied Biosystems 6100 Nucleic Acid PrepStation and 6700 Automated Nucleic Acid Workstation.

TaqMan® Drug Metabolism Assays
Genotype 2,700 high-value polymorphisms located in regulatory elements and coding regions for 221 drug metabolism and transporter genes. 

Prepare reaction plate and amplify DNA using sequence specific primers and TaqMan® probe on an Applied Biosystems® real-time PCR system or thermal cycler.

The plotted fluorescence signals indicate which alleles are in each sample. Make manual allele calls or review automatic allele calls, and then convert allele calls to genotypes.
